Epson all-in-one color printer recommendations

From our experience with printer reliability and ink usage, I also say Eco-Tanl.

We've owned Macs for over 30 years and our current mulit-function device, an Epson ET-3850, is far and away the best ink-jet device we've owned. In three+ years, only once did it show a print issue ,and doing the nozzle cleaning from the control panel fixed that in minutes.

We still have original ink left in the bottles. The extra cost of our ethernet-enabled ET model is more the offset by the savings in ink, an estimated US$ 70-110/year.

Any of the latest Epson EcoTank models are a good choice.

I've been using an Epson XP-7100 multi function for several years and it seems easy to setup, hook up to WiFi and scan and print. It does both sides in scan and print. I don't have the EcoTank model as I do most of my printing on my HP Monochromatic Laser printer. But I scan a lot using VueScan (I like the interface better).

Just got the ET-4950 and works great.

What are your requirements? For example, is this for general office type use, do you want to print photographs, how much & what type scanning do you expect to do, etc.
