Can not install instagram app on iPhone 7 Plus

is there anyways that i can do to installed ig on my iphone7?

So rephrasing the question “are all the previous replies incomplete or false, or is an iPhone last sold in 2019 just too old for the Instagram app?”

Well, bad news, the above replies are correct and complete. The Instagram app developers decided to require iPhone 8 or newer and iOS 16 (16.3) or newer. The app developers decided to not support iPhone 7 and older.

What can you do? Use the Instagram website. Or replace the iPhone with something newer or new, preferably with iPhone 11 or newer, or iPhone SE 2nd or newer, as that’s the oldest iPhone supported by the current iOS 26 and likely by the the upcoming iOS 27.

You can contact Instagram app support and request they change their app support requirements, of course.

See the Apple App Store web page for what versions the app supports, and for support contact info.

That would be the expected result here with anything prior to an iPhone 8, yes.

Instagram requires iOS 16.3 and later, and iPhone 8 and later, which means an iPhone 7 is not supported by this app.

The simple answer to your question is no. Instagram made the decision not to support your iPhone so there is nothing you can do in this situation except buy a new, compatible, iPhone

Hello and welcome to Apple Community! ~Your inquiry about older iOS15.x

with iPhone 7+ was already answered in above. Recent Instagram 'app' to

access, change your account, requires newer iPhone & iOS16.3+ or newer.

That said, you may have limited access via Instagram's web site and check

contents of messages, etc. by using a Browser. See the following copied info:

Open Settings ➢ General ➢ Software Update.

If you get the message; "iOS is up to date", then your iPhone has reached the end-of-life support for Software Updates to the latest iOS operating system, depriving you of new features created many years ago.

Many modern apps are not compatible, limiting the usability of your device.

This seems to be a different question. The earlier replies are involve iPhone 7 that is not supported by the Instagram app developers and cannot be downloaded. Not specifically microphone or camera issues.

Which iPhone and which iOS?

Which apps?
