How to restore 'Live Voicemail' and 'Screen unknown callers' features on iPhone 14 Pro Max?
I had a “Live Voicemail” feature on my iPhone 14 Pro Max ever since it was introduced in iOS 17 but tke feature has suddenly disappeared. This appears to have happened around the time I installed the iOS 26.3 update a while back but I can't say for certain if that's what caused the feature to disappear or not. I found a post in Apple Discussion Forums which suggested that it could be a carrier issue:
"certain carriers never supported the feature and other carriers recently dropped support for it"
I can't find this post anymore (terrible search function in these forums).
My carrier is Rogers (Canada). The feature worked perfectly since iOS 17 so I know that Rogers certainly did support it. Strangely, at the same time I lost the “Live Voicemail” feature, I also lost the “Screen Unknown Callers” feature as well. It's completely gone from my iPhone. I updated to iOS 26.3.1 and it made no difference.
Is anyone else having these problems, especially on the Rogers network? Contacting Rogers for support is an absolute waste of time as they have nobody knowledgable enough to help anymore and their hold times are up to 3 to 4 hours.
