How to enable FaceTime effects in FaceTime?

When I am using FaceTime, I can’t figure out how to enable FaceTime effects. This lets you change how you look, from a unicorn, to a robot. I have resorted to asking the community for help. When I click on myself, I only see “Portrait, Stufio Light, and Reactions. The reactions don’t seem to do anything but fireworks and stuff.

(BTW if this helps, I’m using an iPhone SE 3rd Gen)

There's a difference between adding stickers and changing your face for an animated unicorn that is synced to your head and mouth movements.

The Animoji as it used to be known requires the True-Depth camera to track the movements. A camera the iPhone SE does not have.

The static Memoji Stickers which just add images over the video seem to have been removed with iOS 26 though.
