"How to copy a .wav file from a USB drive with Win11 Professional desktop to a MacBook Pro?: I'm trying to fully copy the win11 Professional desktop from a usb drive to my MacBook Pro. However, the copy process is halted by a functional .wav file. I'm n2 music and really need those files to my Mac. Is there a copy app that will copy that folder to my Mac? Accessing the Files Manually:
If the transfer is stalled, then you should relaunch Finder.
- Hold Down: command + option + escape
- Select: Finder
- Click: Relaunch
Find these Files with Finder:
Do you know these files by name? If so, how many are there? You can use the search bar located on the top-right corner of a Finder window, and search for them by name. They should pop right up. If not, then there is a reading error; they are hidden; or you do not have permission to access them; or the drive is damaged.
Scan your Drive with Disk Utility:
- Go to: Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility
- Select: [the drive] in the felt pane
- Click: First Aid button
