Is there a way to convert or save IRs as Wavs instead of PST?

I understand that the logic IR utility system uses PST, and that's why that's what it chooses to save as. However, I am trying to use the IR utility to create guitar cab responses, since the sine sweep is much more reliable and consistent than creating IRs by recording white noise through a cab, as the standard method appears to be. The IR loader that I use is external hardware that can only run IRs as Wavs. I can't seem to find any way to do this in the IR utility, and I would hope, given that WAVs are the standard format for IRs outside of logic, that this function surely can't have been overlooked.
