Finder progress bar not showing or disappeared

The transfer of small files inside of a Mac with an SSD, happens so fast that you never see a progress bar.

The transfer of small files from a Mac to an external SSD, may also happen so fast that you never see a progress bar.

The transfer of large files inside of a Mac or from Mac to an external drive will give a progress bar, but only during the transfer.
