Black screen for iPhone 17 Pro

I was casually using my iPhone 17 Pro today and all of a sudden the screen went black. I had thought I accidentally pressed the Power Button, but whenever I tried to turn it on the screen remained black. Other features like Apple Intelligence, Action Button and Volume Up/Down, Cellular Data, CarPlay worked, but not the screen or Touchscreen capabilities.

To troubleshoot, I tried hard resetting my phone multiple times, charging the battery, hard resetting again, tried accessing Control Centre and turning up brightness in case the touchscreen did work -- nothing. I bought this phone at the Apple Store less than a week ago; I can't "return" the phone because I had accidentally scratched the corners of the phone chassis (no cosmetic damage on screen directly). No drops. Luckily I bought AppleCare+, but I'm hoping I don't have to pay anything to repair whatever the issue is.

Any thoughts as to why this could've happened?

Make sure you have the latest updates installed.
1. Update Over-the-Air (OTA) —> Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support (IN)
2. Update using iTunes/Finder —> Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support (IN)

You still see a black screen after charging, force restarting, following the steps in this article.
1. You see a black screen, but you can hear alerts, sounds, and vibrations.
2. The screen remains black, but the device chirps when you unmute it and connect it to power.
3. Your screen is on, but it doesn't respond when you tap, slide, or try other gestures.
4. You can't force your device to restart because a button is broken or stuck.
5. Your device is stuck on the Apple logo, displays a solid color, or isn't recognized in iTunes.

Hey, thanks for the message. Tried everything but nothing worked out. I thought Recovery Mode and Updating/Restoring would've worked, but it didn't. Will bring it over to Apple. Thanks again.
