To change the currency displayed on your iPhone, you’ll need to adjust the Region settings.
- Go to Settings > General > Language & Region.
- Under Region, select the country whose currency you want to use.
- For example, choosing United States will display prices in USD, while selecting United Kingdom will show GBP.
If this adjustment doesn’t update the currency everywhere (such as in the App Store or Apple services), the issue is tied to your Apple ID’s country or region. In that case:
- Open Settings > [your name] > Media & Purchases > View Account.
- Select Country/Region and update it to the desired country.
Note: Changing your Apple ID’s country may require updating your payment method and could affect app availability, subscriptions, and content tied to your account.
You cannot globally change the default currency in Apple Numbers without altering your Mac/iOS region settings. However, you can work around this by customizing templates or manually setting currency formats in each document, so you don’t need to change your Apple ID country or system region.
