Card expiration date changed, cannot be updated

My card expiration date suddenly changed. I was about to pay for a new subscription and it said the payment method failed and that I needed to add a new one, when I added the same card it told me I already had it, so I went to setting to see the problem and I noticed that the expiration date changed to this exact month and year when it expires in 2029! I tried changing it so many times but it would go back to what it was, I attempted to change it on the website and appstore but it didn’t work. I also tried adding a new payment method and deleting this one to add it again but the expiration date was the same… I even turned my phone off and on hoping it would fix the problem but nope. I’m so frustrated!

Credit and debit cards that are added to electronic wallets are controlled by the bank that issued them, not Apple. You need to reach out to the bank’s support team for assistance with the issue.
