Apple watch series 2 battery dies after minutes from 100%, but once I charge it again, it shows up at ~90%. This repeats every time, dying soon after being disconnected from power but showing just a few percent lower than what it was before dying.
It’s like it thinks it’s dead before the battery is 0 and keeps doing that.

well series 2 was released back in 2016
if you haven't gotten the battery replaced since then it's like dying,
all rechargeable batteries die it's just a question of one delaying it and when it do die replace it
though their battery replace site do not offer replacement for watchs older than series 3
