MacBook Air Calendar appearance changed after update

device: MacBook Air

Software (Updated) 26.3.1

The appearance of the calendar on my Macbook Air has changed since the most recent update to Tahoe 26.3.1. It appears squished together. Instead of having blank day-boxes at the beginning and end of each month with 4 weeks to the month, it now has 5 or 6 continuous weeks.

Any suggestions on if or how it can revert to a previous version of calendar?

Thanks,

TscienceK

As far as I can tell, there were no visible changes to Calendar in any of the recent versions.

I have my Calendar set to Month view.

I have never seen empty day-boxes at the beginning and end of a month; for example, March 31 falls on a Tuesday, and April 1 follows imediately; not leaving the rest of the week empty and starting in the middle of the next row, or the one after that.

Are you sure you are not remembering some other calendar app?
