Emergency Bypass is a setting to allow certain contacts’ calls and texts to ring or vibrate to you even when you are on Silent or Focus modes. You can turn that off for someone by opening the Contact app > Selecting or searching for a contact > Selecting Edit in the top right corner of their contact card > Scroll down to Ringtone > Turn off Emergency Bypass and save.
