Completing Data Transfer:

When you say “resets”, are you saying you are resetting all settings? If not might be what to try, performed already. Then, perform this transfer, once more.

How to Perform a Reset:

Preferences you’ve made will be reset. So, you’ll have to add back networks and such, but contacts, photos, and schedules with stay intact. So, you’ll may want to take a few screenshots of things in the list, such as your Wi-Fi credentials.

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: General
3. Tap: Transfer or Reset
4. Tap: Reset All Settings

Keep this Plugged in:

While performed, be certain this is plugged into a device that itself is plugged into a wall outlet.

Update All Devices:

Be certain that all devices associated to your account are updated to the latest operating systems, backing up before you do so(to avoid loss of data, should the update fail).

Note:

Some things just won’t transfer, because they are incompatible with newer iOS versions.
