How to change liquid glass colors in macOS to a warm palette

When I edit the Contacts they come up in a depressing grey/blue palette* (turns to white when I edit.) How do I get rid of this palette wherever it occurs (or in Contacts, to begin.) Nope, I won't use dark mode. ** Tahoe?***

  • I already live in Portland!

**Cannot read dark mode: discontinued my Wired subscription back in the day because of it.

*** Name an operating system after a popular auto and search is screwed up for, what, until the next major OS change? Is "26" going to be any better?

Lots of complaints about Contacts in Tahoe. To have Apple consider your feedback, submit it here:

Feedback - macOS - Apple

The only real workaround is to add a contact picture, the contact card takes on the color from that. For example:

Tahoe is macOS 26, and no doubt macOS 27 will bring more 'improvements' (from Apple's perspective), regardless of what California location they use for its name.
