Notification when only one AirPod is charging

I have AirPods Pro (3rd gen), and pretty often when I put them in the case, one of them doesn’t start charging because it’s not seated properly. Is there any way to get a notification if only one AirPod is charging?

It’s really annoying to find in the morning that one AirPod is fully charged while the other is at 0%.

You'll have to tell Apple directly via AirPods feedback.  This is a user-to-user forum. No Apple personnel present.

I have had that problem occasionally with my G2 AirPods Pro. I now automatically clean off the stems of the AirPods before inserting them into the case. I insert only one and make sure the amber light is showing before I add the second one.

I then open the case next to my open iPhone to verify that both are charging along with the case:

Note: if only one is charging or they are at different charge levels both will show separately and if one isn't charging it won't have the lighting icon in the center.
