What's the App?
Update Button Not Working for an App:
If nothing above works, try the following...
A. Turn Off All VPNs:
Unless required for work or school, delete all of your VPNs. Turn them off when trying to perform updates. VPNs just get in the way of Apple devices, and this is a put example of how and why.
B. Minimum System Requirements:
Look up the minimum system requirements of this app. It may not be suited yet for iOS 26.4.
C. Update from Within:
Once the iOS has been updated, some apps have update from within them. That is why you need to have a Method of Payment assigned to your Apple Account: Even free apps have the option to purchase from within them.
D. Perform a Force Restart, and Reinstall (if Necessary):
I had an app unable to close after iOS24.6 update. The app was operable, yet it would not close from screen --not even a swipe would close it. The only fix was to perform a Force Restart > remove the app > reinstall it.
