Logic board failure on a 20 month old computer.

Has anyone else had a logic board fail on their MacBook Air? My 2024 air just died when I tried to upgrade to Tahoe. One minute it worked fine, started the upgrade and it’s dead. MacLife quoted me $600 to repair. A 20 month old computer that dies = planned obsolescence. I feel completely ripped off. Clearly a one year warranty is not sufficient. Might switch to a pc.

Electronics fail. Get the computer repaired if you have AppleCare. If you don't have AppleCare, you have to decide whether to pay the cost of repair or get a new computer. If you decide to get a PC make sure you also get the extended warranty because PC electronics also fail.
