Does iPod touch 5g IOS 6 support 24 bit 48 kHz with lightning to 3.5 cable/adapter over aux?

Does an iPod touch 5th gen on IOS 6 support 24 bit 48kHz -192 kHz ? Do i need a lightning to 3.5 adapter/cable to reach that limit over aux?
