Recurring agreement acceptance loop in Apple Books for Authors

Hello Apple Support,

I’m having a recurring agreement loop in Apple Books for Authors.

Here’s what is happening:

  • I am using a Mac desktop.
  • The issue happens in Apple Books for Authors.
  • My App Store sign-in works normally.
  • The agreement sometimes appears to clear after I download it, but then it comes back again.
  • Because of this, I’m unable to reliably proceed with publishing.

I have already tried signing in again and checking the account through the App Store, but the agreement keeps reappearing.

Can you please check whether there is an account-side or Books portal issue preventing the agreement from being properly accepted?

Apple ID email: ***.

Am no expert in this area, yet your question deserves some response.

Seems Apple has discontinued Apple Books for Authors. (People with older software installed may (or may not ?) still be able to use it, if already installed.). So it's not surprising that you were unable to proceed with the agreement.
