Productivity gestures possible while being in Split Screen mode?

Is it possible to have productivity gestures enabled while being in Split Screen mode? Tbh both Apps as Windows and Stage Manager mode are annoying as h*ll as it seems like they're the only way to use split sceen, while losing access to the productivity gestures (which i love bc they're perfect for screenshots when working on my notes with my apple pen ).
