iPhone 16 USB-C charging works only in one orientation

Problem with charge on Iphone 16.

So i've got a problem with charging, iphone would charge only on 1 side of type c, if i flip the cable - it wouldnt work. But if i turn the iphone off, it would work on both sides.

I thought thats a problem with a cable, replace it - didnt work.

I thought thats might be a 2 problematic cables, test them on ipad - both work.

So might it be a problem with some controller inside the iphone and i need to go to service (there is no official apple services in my country)

Or it might be a problem with IOS and i could fix it somehow.

Phone Charging Issues When Powered On:

It would seem to me to be a hardware error being this occurs when more power is being used. So, see about getting this serviced, by an AASP.

If none are around, then you’ll need to troubleshoot this, yourself. Clean it out i with compressed air, and tap debris out with a wooden toothpick, taking it out safely.

"I've got no AASP nearby. Port is clean, its also work normally after reloading. So i guess its some of IOS problems"

Power Issues With Cable Plugs:

It might be an issue with the iOS, through this is the first report I've seen with just one side working while powered on or off. So, I'd say just use it as it is, if it works in one way.

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.
