Snooze button & alarm notification missing after update 26.4

The disappearance of the snooze button and onscreen alarm notifications after updating to iOS/Android 26.4 is likely due to deliberate UI design changes and Bug regressions that occur during major updates. 

Based on similar reports for version 26+ updates, here are the likely causes and steps to resolve or work around this issue.

1. The "Swipe to Snooze" Design Change

In recent updates, Apple/Google has changed how alarms are handled on the lock screen. 

• The Issue: The physical volume buttons or the power button may no longer function as a "Snooze" button, now only muting the alarm.
• The Fix: You may need to swipe the alarm banner on the lock screen to reveal "Snooze" or "Stop."
• Workaround: Try setting up a new alarm to see if the interface works correctly for new entries. 

2. Verify Alarm Settings

It is possible that the update, or a setting, toggled off the snooze option. 

1. Open the Clock app.
2. Go to Alarm and select the specific alarm.
3. Check if there is a Snooze toggle switch and ensure it is turned on.

My problem is that when my alarm goes off while I am currently on my phone (screen unlocked), the only banner that shows up is a microscopic orange alarm with nothing else. When I try to click on it, it stops the alarm and takes me to my alarms screen, but then I have to search through my alarms to find out which alarm was going off. So I can’t choose to snooze it at all even though I have the snooze option toggled on. The weird thing is that this doesn’t always happen. Sometimes the banner shows up in a normal size with the snooze and stop buttons there.

I’m having similar issues - except now there is absolutely no visual/alarm banner of the alarm. I used to always be able to see and hear the alarms and now there’s only a sound. If I use either the power or volume buttons, it turns the alarm off. I’ve confirmed all of my alarms have the snooze feature toggled on. I’ve tried suggestions on how to fix it - nothing has worked. What’s the point of having an alarm if you have no way to snooze it??? I am not happy. This didn’t start happening until after the 26.6 update which I didn’t even want in the first place! FIX THIS APPLE!
