Is there a disable for the "safety filter" when using "clean up" in Apple Photos?

Has anyone figured out how to disable the ridiculous safety filter when using the clean up tool in apple photos?? I've zoomed in and cropped. It does NOT work for me. I'm simply trying to quickly remove a few straight lines in an art piece, and all I get is a pixilated mess!!

While the entire image is a sensual, adult rated artwork, the fact that I can't easily remove some errors is beyond the pale.

Any help would be appreciated.

I use my iPad with the current iOS. Other areas of the image work just fine, as do other images as a whole. This particular issue wasn't the face, but an errant line on the side. I zoomed in as tight as possible, but that didn't work. I tried the suggested combo of the crop tool then the zoom tool...no luck. I was hoping some new option was available.

I've resigned myself to the cloning tool in adobe. I had hoped to avoid creating an entire new image by using the quick fix, but it appears that won't happen.

Which system version do you have installed? Are you trying the clean-up on a Mac or on an iPhone or iPad?

The safety filter does not only interfere for adult content but also, when we simply try to remove skin defects or freckles from a face.

On my Mac with macOS 26 Tahoe I can use clean-up without triggering the safety filter when trying to remove freckles, if I zoom in as much as possible before trying to retouch. Then the retouch brush will not trigger the filter that would otherwise pixelate and cover the face.
