I installed Parallels with Windows 11 on my Mac. Suddenly copying a pdf file on the Windows desktop to my Mac doesn't work anymore

If you do not mind disabling Isolate Windows from Mac on the guest's configuration Security panel, that will enable you to Share a designated Mac folder with Windows 11 on the guests's configuration Option panel using Manage Folders… where you could add [+] a Custom folder from your Mac. I would leave the General items (e.g. the Mac's hostname and your username) unselected.

When you launch Windows 11 in Parallels, you will see a new folder on your Windows 11 Desktop named "Mac Files" and if you double-click that, it will reveal the folder you are sharing from the Mac. File transfer should be straightforward.

Tested: Parallels Desktop Pro v26.3.0 (new today), Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (ARM), Tahoe 26.4.
