Can't remove old apple id from app store but the correct id is in the phone settings.

I'm inquiring on the behalf of my friend. Here's the problem were trying to resolve. His iphone and MacBook neo app store is trying to use an old apple id that he no longer uses. Weven tried signing out in them but after reopening the app store the old I'd is back. Now in settings of the iphone it shows the correct id he's currently using. Is there anything else we can try besides erasing the phone and MacBook neo? What is causing this issue?

It sounds like the MacBook Neo was improperly set up. It should have been set up as new, being certain that if any backup or Migration Assistant was used, nothing was brought over from that old Apple Account.
