Hello. So I have the same problem on the Neo, the thing is, I did what you said and did a safe boot and the problem is still there.

The only solution I found is making the pointer bigger than the second notch on the slider, then it stays the color you want it to be anywhere on the screen.

+ I think the problem started when I updated to the most recent system stuff. Tahoe 26.4.1

Do you think there could be any other solutions ?

Could this possibly be a virus situation?

Yes, I thought i was the only person with this problem. Ever since I updated my Neo to 26.4.1 my custom pointer color disappears at the center of the screen, only showing on all 4 edges of the screen. I sent a report to Apple which I hope they address it in the next update

Reset Colors doesn't fix the issue. Once while using Apple TV, the color was fixed even after I closed the window. Then it suddenly switched to the black and white color.
