Instagram app crashes on iPhone when launching

Hello everyone,

I have been having an issue with Instagram the past 5 days, where I am trying to launch it on my iPhone and then it would instantly crash, just after showing the layout of the homepage. It has been getting annoying as I have tried various fixed:

Restart iPhone
Offload Instagram
Uninstall and then reinstall Instagram
Reset settings
Different networks
Received a new Instagram update a few hours ago

Anyone else having that problem or a solution?

Remove all VPN apps, update to iOS 26.4 if not already, and test again.

If problems persist, contact Instagram support.

No VPNs installed and updated yesterday to iOS 26.4.

I have not found a way to contact support without paying for the subscription.
