I am being charged 40 dollars for Apple Music when my individual plan is $10.99

Hey I’ve been charged 3 times in one month and I have the individual Apple Music plan which is $10.99 a month. I was curious to know why I am being charged 40 dollars today and I was also charged 40 dollars yesterday? I’ve paid earlier this month which was more than $10.99 I just wanted answers to why ? Thank you

We are all Apple users, just as you are, in the community. No-one here has access to your accounts or details in order to check this out for you.

We'd like to help you find answers though:

You can check your purchase history to see what charges Apple has made to your payment method: View your purchase history for the App Store and other Apple media services - Apple Support

Multiple items may be grouped onto one bill

How apps, content, and subscriptions from Apple are billed - Apple Support

You may want to check the statement from your payment method provider to see whether that matches your Apple payment history.

More info: Get help with charges from apple.com/bill - Apple Support

If some of the charges do not appear in your purchase history, Apple may have passed money on for you (like a bank does) if requested.

See : About purchases not billed through the App Store or Apple In-App Purchase - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"If you paid for an app, a purchase within an app, or a subscription outside of Apple’s ecosystem, contact the developer for billing support or a refund. Apple is unable to provide support for these purchases."

Family members may or may not have made purchases:

If you wish: you can: Manage your iTunes Store purchases and settings on iPhone - Apple Support

or

Check if you want to change any settings or restrictions: Change settings and restrictions in the App Store on iPhone - Apple Support

In these times: The charges may or may not all be genuinely from Apple.

If you still need help with finding answers:

You may want to reach out to Subscriptions and Billing Support ... there's a contact link (online chat / phone / email etc.) at the bottom of their website: Subscriptions and Billing - Official Apple Support

All the best :-)
