Final Cut Pro trial and compatibility on MacBook Air (2019
I have a MacBook Air Retina 13-in 2019 running MacOS Sonoma 14.8.5.
Where do I find a version of Final Cut Pro compatible with my machine, possibly with free trial?

I think you meant "Final Cut Pro" not "Logic Pro."
Same limitation applies, however. FCP currently requires Sequoia 15.6 or later.
The only FCP "free trial" available now is via the Creator Studio bundle, which you must subscribe to in order to get the 1-month free trial. You can cancel the subscription at any time but if you go beyond the 30-days you will be charged.
If you are looking for a video editing app on a par with FCP, try Davinci Resolve. It's completely free and is supported on macOS Sonoma. The free version packs quite a punch but there is also a paid version called Davinci Resolve Studio that has additional features.
