Turn Off Passcode button unavailable on iPhone
The turn my passcode off button is not available for me to turn off. I don’t want a passcode on my iPhone. Please advise.

There is not a Passcode "button" on the iPhone.
Tap Settings
Tap Face ID & Passcode
Enter your Passcode
Scroll down and Tap on Turn Passcode Off
Follow the prompts
Keep in mind that if you turn off the Passcode on your phone, anyone who picks up your phone will have instant access to all of the personal data on your iPhone.
An iPhone thief will be thrilled if they lift an iPhone with no Passcode requirement.

You do NOT want to do that. There are a number of features that require a passcode be set.
This shouldn't be an issue on a device that supports Face ID. Face ID works quickly and you should only rarely be prompted to enter your passcode.

As you have been advised, it is unwise to remove the layer of security protection to protect you from theft.
