Apple TV 4K not in Configurator after tvOS 26.4

I recently updated my Apple TV 4k (3rd Generation) with Ethernet to tvOS 26.4 and it is no longer appearing in Paired Devices in Apple Configurator for Mac. I have a second Apple TV that is on version 18.6, and this device appears in Paired Devices with no issue. On the device that is running 26.4, I have reset it multiple times and I am on the initial hello screen and I am connected to the same ethernet network on the same subnet. Could the recent 26.4 update be the issue?

I am having this same issue. Trying to supervise an Apple TV 4K GEN3 but cannot pair the device via Apple Configurator 2 after it is erased and on the first page of the setup assistant. After the device through setup I have to remove the ethernet cable for the device to be discoverable in Configurator. Re-inserting the cable makes the device disappear in "Paired Devices" It is discoverable over ethernet with Xcode, but pairing it there has not helped.

I received an update from Apple Support today. They have said this issue will be resolved in the 26.6 update.

This is exactly what I am experiencing. I had a support call with Apple this morning and they collected logs and are sending it up to the engineers. Hopefully by the end of this week they will have an answer.

I work with Apple TV and supervision is essential for me. My automated tests don’t work after the update to tvOS 26.4 because I can’t pair Apple Configurator with the Apple TV via network; it doesn’t show up in “linked devices.” I hope the fix is released soon.

I am not using Xcode for pairing. I am following this guide from Apple Support

After an update, you may need to pair the Mac and Apple TV box again.

Note that pairing of the Mac is not needed, unless you want/need the developer options. E.g. Home Sharing and AirPlay are available without this type of pairing.

I have updated my Apple TV to tvOS 26.5, and this still did not resolve my issue. Apple support still does not have any update regarding this yet. It has been well over a month since I contacted them about it.
