How Listening Modes affect Hearing Aid & Conversation Boost?
Hi everyone,
I’ve been experimenting with the hearing settings on my AirPods Pro 3 to figure out how to get the clearest sound for my daily use.
I find myself switching between the different listening modes a lot depending on where I am (Noise Cancellation, Transparency, Adaptive, and Off). I'm trying to understand how changing these modes actually impacts two specific features:
- The new built-in Hearing Aid feature.
- The older Conversation Boost feature (which I find by going to Settings > Accessibility > Audio & Visual > Headphone Accommodations > Transparency Mode > Conversation Boost).
If I switch from Transparency to Adaptive or Noise Cancellation, do these voice-boosting features just stop working completely? Do they behave differently depending on the mode?
I just want to know what to expect when I squeeze the stem to change modes while walking around. Any simple explanation would be super helpful. Thanks!
