I keep getting a pop-up dialog box that says, "Google Chrome wants Permission to Find Devices on Local Networks". It is quite annoying as it happens on almost a daily basis. Any help would be appreciated.

Until you allow it that pop-up will keep coming back. All this does is allow Google Chrome access to attached devices like printers. If you try to print something from the Google Chrome browser it will need access to your printer. macOS security does not allow this by default. The user has to agree to it.

There have, however, been some users reporting that there are numerous Chrome entries in that Local Network setting.

I think that is Google in general, not Chrome. Yesterday someone sent me documents via Google Docs and I got the same pop-ups just trying to open the document.
