Change Calendar event colors on iPhone or iPad

how do i change the color designation on my calendar. I HAVE an Apple iPad, and I have Apple iPhone and I HAD an apple computer. When I had my apple computer I set up my calendar so that certain colors represented  certain repeated events on the calendar. Now i want to add more colors to my calendar but I no longer have the apple computer.   How can I make these changes? Or how can I add more colors?

On an iPhone, iPad or Mac, the color of an event is the color of the calendar in which it resides. You can change the calendar color (so all the events in that calendar have the same color) but not change the color of a specific event.

To change the calendar color on the iPhone and iPad, tap the calendar icon (bottom right), tap the ⓘ icon next to the calendar and tap the Color.

If you want to differentiate your events by color, you could create additional calendars.
