Apple Motion and Macbook M2 Pro Max with OSX Sonoma 14.8.2
I would like to by (from Apple) a version of Apple Motion that will work on my Macbook with OSX Sonoma.
How can I find a way to do that? App Store doesn't give You the possibility to by a version of Apple Motion that is compatible with my setup. For many different reasons I don't want to upgrade from Sonoma...
Any help would much appreciated!

Apple stopped supplying outdated versions of some apps. So you'd have to find someone who has a copy. I have heard of a couple of sites that keep older versions for people to download, but I do not know their URLs myself.

That's perfectly noble of you, but:
a) Apple won't even allow you to buy it from any mac running less than Sequoia 15.6
b) It used to be the case that, after having bough the app, you could then download an appropriate older version for the older OS; but alas this is no longer the case. Apple changed its policy and, AFAICT, never said so explicitly, they just stopped providing appropriate older versions. If you can purchase and somehow get access to an older version, it should be all right, BUT... beware. Downloading such software from somewhere on the internet could get you a version that may be tainted with malware.
