This happens if the laptop have started up "normally", or if I start it in Recovery Mode. Some key words in the Details are: xDisk Utility crashes "Too Many Warnings of this type generated; supressing subsequent ones." Are you having some larger issue with your Mac...?

Why running DiskUtility, can you paint a bigger picture for some context here.

What is "Data choice" (?) are you saying the "Macintosh HD - Data" volume....

Did you try running the First Aid on the Container(?) on the Parent Drive(?)

Boot into Internet Recovery (Option Command R) and from the dropdown menu: Utilities>  Disk Utility> run the First Aid on your Macintosh HD (top most), Container, (and the "Macintosh HD-Data" volume as well) If errors are found and repaired, run again until no errors reported.

Disk Utility>View>Show All Devices

Parent drive —I would start here

Container level

Volume level

Yes, I am saying the "Macintosh HD - Data" volume one can select for examining within Disk Utility.
Yes, I did view All Devices
Yes, I did start up my Mac with Command-R and then run Disk Utility
Yes, after starting up with Command-R, I chose and examined individually, each possible choice listing on the left side of the Disk Utility window.
Still, when I choose "Macintosh HD - Data" volume as the item to examine, Disk Utility is crashing (freezing) when it examines the "data" choice of what I want to examine.

The current stable release of Tahoe  including bug fixes,  security updates  is macOS 26.4.1 - I would start there
