You don't. You were conned into giving up your Apple account credentials by using a link in a phishing message sent by the thief.

You need to change your password. NOW.

You will never see that device again.

All you can do now is to ask your carrier to blacklist the phone. This will not keep the thief or their customer from resetting the phone and using it like an iPod touch. It will make the phone unable to connect to the network of any carrier who honors the blacklist.

If I remember the Support articles correctly, the Activation Lock is already removed. The phone might continue to show up in Find My for up to 30 days, but the damage has already been done.

Only if the thief leaves the phone unmolested for 30 days, and then lets it connect to the Internet, might Activation Lock turn itself back on.

I would tap, “Stop Erase Request”.

then immediately change your AppleID password.

But if/when it comes online, the request should go through.

The phone is Offline. The OP would not even be able to enter the instructions to "Stop Erase Request" if the phone was Offline.....because the phone won't even appear in Find My if it is Offline.

Now.....if the phone was Online...and it appeared in Find My......the OP could enter the "Stop Erase Request" and it would go through if the phone remained Online for a time.

Both commands are the iPhone servers waiting to talk to the iPhone.

The physical SIM card would not have given the thief the information needed to log into your Apple Account. The iPhone only uses it to get information about your cellular plan.

Going to be difficult to tap "Stop Erase Request" when the OP is reporting that the iPhone is Offline with no Internet Connection.
