Mouse and keyboard advanced keys issues in MacOs Tahoe 26.4

i have macbook pro m1, i have a weird issue after upgrading to macos 26.4

mouse middle click not working anymore (using Logitech G502 hero)

also the keyboard keeps clicking macro buttons in it continuously (redragon k587 magic-wand) as this keyboard has few more buttons than usual keyboards such as record button to record macro for additional buttons G1-G9, when i checked online seems like many people has this issue too that the advanced buttons in mouse and keyboard no longer work properly, it was working properly in macos 26.3

i don't know how or where to get logs to share here.

Apple’s implementation of Human Interface Device (HID) support for input devices—such as mice and keyboards—is designed to comply with its own standards for Apple-compatible peripherals. This ensures that supported devices work seamlessly “out of the box,” without requiring additional software.

However, when users choose non-standard or feature-rich third-party devices, compatibility may not be fully supported by default. In these cases, additional third-party software or drivers are often required to enable advanced functionality.

For example, issues like " A non-functioning middle mouse click on a Logitech G502 Hero " and Unintended or continuous macro key activation on a " Redragon K587 Magic Wand keyboard "

These arise because these features fall outside Apple’s standard HID implementation >> Full Stop

To restore or customize these advanced functions, users typically need to install manufacturer-specific software or other third-party tools.

In some cases, firmware updates for the devices may also be necessary to ensure proper compatibility with Tahoe 26.4.1.

In conclusion, this s not necessarily a regression in Tahoe 26.4.1 but rather a regression in the third party developers software required for full functionalities on the the operating system it was intended to be used on.

well simply it's a keyboard and a mouse that should work properly on any type of computer ..etc

Apple keyboards don’t have macro keys, and Apple mice don’t have a middle button. Support for those functions comes from 3rd party software associated with that 3rd party hardware.

as i said it was working properly in macOS 26.3 but everything messed up after upgrading to 26.4,

That means that whatever 3rd party software is associated with that 3rd party hardware isn’t properly compatible with macOS 26.4. It’s the responsibility of those developers to keep their software updated. Contact them for support.

Certain misconceptions that persist regarding the relationship between Apple Computer and third-party devices, applications, extensions, services, and accessories that require third party softwares to make the devices fully functional in macOS

These misconceptions often arise when third-party products fail to function or meet user expectations.

Apple is responsible for addressing issues with its own services, applications, operating systems, and accessories. However, Apple cannot rectify user choices of third-party products  installed and used on their computers.

This responsibility lies solely with the third party to evaluate the performance of their products when used on an Apple Computer running the intended version of macOS.

How to contact an app developer

well simply it's a keyboard and a mouse that should work properly on any type of computer ..etc

as i said it was working properly in macOS 26.3 but everything messed up after upgrading to 26.4, redragon does not even have an application on macOS and it never required one to be able to use the keyboard, also the macro buttons in this keyboard saves the macro inside its memory itself without need for any application.

it is a 87 buttons keyboard and 9 for macro.

and the Mouse it should work properly with the middle click but seems like macOs does not even detect the click event of that button since all apps of event listeners for mouse does not detect it got pressed.
