Problems with MacBook Pro after closing the lid

I’ve noticed recently my MacBook just seems to not work/go blank and unresponsive when I close the lid. It’s really weird. I’ve had software issues with this in the past where it just seemed really unstable but that’s gone now and it’s been fine for a good while. It’s on MacOS Tahoe. I first noticed this happened when I was using it and it ran out of battery. Instead of the usual freeze and going black, it froze and started flickering and tinting red and all sorts before going blank. Didn’t think anything of it. Plugged it in closed and brought it down later and opened the lid. Completely blank. Screen off, no buttons doing anything. I assumed the charger hadn’t been on or something, so I went back upstairs to grab it. I came down with the charger to find the laptop on the login screen as if it had been shut down instead of being on the lock screen. Didn’t think that much of it. Once i’d finished using it I closed it once again. Brought it back upstairs. When I opened it to use it again, it was blank again, not responding to anything. This time I waited it out and noticed it went straight from blank to login like literally. No Apple logo, startup sound or screen - none of it. Again, on the login screen, not lock screen which I thought was weird. Was using it and noticed it was having internet issues, which was the second time in this situation now. Also noticed the TouchBar was completely off. Eventually just closed it and remembered something leading to me opening it again. But it was blank. The screen wasn’t off this time, but it was definitely blank. No image, TouchBar or anything. It also was not turning off the screen when I went to close it again. After a couple minutes it turned off the screen, and that’s where it’s at now. I may just mentioned last week I did spill a tiny amount of Oasis on the keyboard. It was an empty bottle and only drops fell out, but I saw it could’ve gone into the gaps of the keyboard so as soon as I realised I unplugged everything from it and turned it off. Despite it turning on a few times when I would try to dry the keyboard down, I had it in a tent position on my beanbag. I left it for 24 hours where it got moved by someone and turned on. I immediately turned it back off again and waited another around 24 hours. Turned it on and ran an Apple Diagnostics and everything came back fine except the MacOS version not being completely up to date. I’ll probably try to get another Repair and Diagnostics session tomorrow, but for now could anyone tell me what is wrong with my Mac and what I should do next? I apologise if the question is long.

Just because the Diagnostic reported no erros it is not so good at report CPU issue.

Sounds like a hardware failure

Update: It seems to have fixed itself... I restarted to check the Apple logo still shows up when it's open and it did, so I shut it down and did the Diagnostics. Everything came back fine except the software being out-of-date (not much). When I restarted it again i noticed the TouchBar was back on, the connection issues seemed to have gone and when I tried closing the lid and opening it it just seemed startled and went on the beach ball for a second and loaded everything back up. Did it again a few times waiting longer to check and it seems fine now. Thank you for the help!
