Shared flight tracker stuck on iPhone Lock Screen

iPhone 17 running iOS 26.3.1

My wife shared her Southwest flight info with me. The tracker appeared on my lock screen. This was three days ago and I can't get rid of the tracker. If I click on the tracker, it takes me to my Apple Wallet, which of course has nothing in it regarding the flight since it originated from my wife's phone. Also, in the Dynamic Island at the top of my screen there is a blue symbol of a suitcase on a rolling cart. If I click on that I am once again taken to my Apple Wallet.

Here's what I've done so far (on both of our phones):

  1. Restarted many times.
  2. Gone into SETTINGS, then FACE ID & PASSCODE, and turned off LIVE ACTIVITIES. (Note: The Southwest app does not have anything like Live Activities in its settings. But I did turn off notifications just in case.)
  3. Made sure my wife had deleted her boarding pass from her Apple Wallet.
  4. Logged us out of our Southwest apps then logged us back in.
  5. Changed my lock screen image.

None of these have gotten rid of the tracker. Can anyone suggest something I haven't tried yet?

Hi! I hope you resolved your issue! I had the same issue too and thought mine was stuck, but then I followed Jeff Donald’s advice (Settings > Face ID & Passcode (enter passcode), scroll > Allow Access When Locked > toggle off and on Live Activities) and in a fury untoggled the first 5 items under “allow access when unlocked”, went back to the locked screen, and there was a new prompt on the tracker to allow live activities or not and when I clicked “not allow” it went away! I’ve sinced turned everything back on and it’s still gone. Hope that helps. And thanks Jeff!
