iPhone 13 Camera app not defaulting to photo mode

My device is iphone 13 currently running ios 26.4.1

The issue is am facing is previously when I close camera app and open it , the camera used to open by default in the photo mode but now where i have left it it is opening from there only for exam If I am closing it video camera it will again open in video camera only it seems like apple preserve camera settings is not working properly

Do you guys are facing same problem ??
