"Can't get Siri to respond"

Go to Settings > Siri > Talk and Type to Siri > Turn it Off then back on to either "Hey Siri" or also "Siri". This will reset Siri and ask you to go through a set of prompts to read aloud which will train Siri to better recognize and respond to your voice.
