In portrait mode, the Facebook app covers the iPad mini display's date and time with the Facebook logo. It also interferes with the '+' on the battery icon. Changing text size does nothing.

I've tried to submit a bug report to Facebook for their app, but haven't learned the secret yet.

This is an unresolved bug within iPadOS 26. Rotating your iPad from Landscape orientation to Portrait and back (or vice versa) will often clear the formatting problem.
You and anyone else that encounters this issue would be best advised to submit a bug report to Apple via the product feedback page. Please include full iPad model details and installed version of iPadOS within the body report.
