Which exact model is your "Apple Wireless Keyboard"? What is the make & model of your laptop and what version of operating system is it running? Has this always been a issue or did this just started to happen recently?
Short answer
Apple wireless (Bluetooth) keyboards do use a PIN/passkey during pairing, but:
- The keyboard itself does not have a fixed PIN
- The PIN is generated by the computer (or phone/tablet) during pairing
- You simply type that code on the keyboard to confirm the connection
A bit longer answer
When you pair an Apple wireless keyboard:
- Your computer shows a temporary pairing code (PIN/passkey)
- You type that code on the Apple keyboard, and then, press Enter → pairing completes
Note: There is no default PIN like “0000” or “1234” for modern Apple keyboards. If a system asks you to *enter* a PIN without showing one, it’s usually a pairing issue or compatibility quirk.
