My father's iphone 10 is set in assistive access mode. There is no way that I can see to add the flashlight to the set of applications in assistive access mode (I can add his banking app, magnifier, camera, photos, etc., but not the flashlight). Is there a work around? Thanks.
You could always let Apple know of this missing feature: Product Feedback - Apple.
Otherwise, there is a plethora of flashlight apps on the App Store. I believe those apps would appear in the list of apps in Assistive Access.
I'm not too familiar with Assistive Access. I tried to see if we could add a shortcut (from the Shortcuts app) but it doesn't possible.

Thanks. I was hoping for a nice big button, not some other mysterious way for him to access the flashlight. It really seems like an oversight by Apple that a mode that helps people with vision issues doesn’t have a light!
