iPhone 17 Pro haptics randomly stop working
Hello everyone!
Problem
I’m experiencing an issue with my iPhone 17 Pro. Since I bought it (running iOS 26), the haptic feedback seems to turn off randomly during the day. For example, I keep keyboard haptics enabled, but at times the phone simply stops vibrating while typing.
How to reproduce
Here's things get difficult. I haven’t been able to identify a consistent way to reproduce the issue. It happens at different times (morning, afternoon, etc.), and I haven’t found any correlation with specific modes such as Do Not Disturb or others.
Temporary fixes / observations
I also don’t have a reliable fix, but I’ve noticed a couple of things:
- Toggling Low Power Mode on and off sometimes restores haptics after a short delay (not immediately).
- Turning vibration off and on again in Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Vibration can also bring haptics back, again after a delay.
This issue is still persistent in iOS 26.4.1.
Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a more reliable solution?
