iMovie Maps not recognizing GPS coordinates

I cannot get GPS coordinates to recognized a location in iMovie Maps. I've searched various troubleshooting sites, tried different number formatting (spaces/no spaces, commas/periods), restarted computer, restarted iMovie, made sure I've got the latest version (10.4.4) but nothing ever appears. I'm trying to mark a spot in Lapland, Finland, so there's no big city nearby. Help, please. Thank you!
