MacBook pointer color inconsistent unless enlarged

Hi, I'm new to MacBooks with the neo.

I try to change the color of my pointer in settings and it stays the default black unless I move to the tool bar and the dock.

I tried restarting and doing a "safe boot". The problem still persisted.

The only solution I found was to make the pointer bigger by sliding it past the second notch on the slider, then it stays the color I want it to be on the whole screen.

I think this happened right after I updated to the Tahoe 26.4.1 ?

Do you guys think there is any other solution other than making the pointer bigger? because its slightly too big for my liking.

Thank you for reading.

I am also new to the MacBook Neo and I am facing this same issue. Changing the colors was working fine before I updated to Tahoe 26.4.1 now the pointer colors I set are inconsistent. Constantly switching from the color I set back to default. After enlarging the pointer it stays but going from cursor to pointer or to the little hand still seems to be inconsistent with the colors going back and forth. Hopefully there will be a fix because the pointer is definitely too big.
