How to submit an unblock request for iMessage and FaceTime after Apple blocked my phone number?

Apple blocked my phone number for spam. I didn’t spam anyone. My phone just stopped allowing me to use my phone number in both iMessages and FaceTime. Please I don’t know how to submit an unblock request. I really didn’t do anything.

Contact Apple directly here:

Contact Apple Support - Apple Support

Whether you realize it or not, you have had multiple messages from other users reporting your communications as Spam. You are not notified when a user reports your message as Spam, but one thing is for sure, it is only meant for personal communications with Family/Friends who would not be reporting your messages as Spam.

Welcome and thank you for reaching out. 🤗

If Messages was deactivated due to spam reports, you need to contact Apple Support directly.

They can review your account and help reactivate Messages if it was mistakenly flagged.

In the meantime, avoid sending mass or unsolicited messages to prevent further flags.

Thanks again for reaching out. 👍🏼

Good Luck! 👋🏼😉

This has happened 6 plus times over the past few months. It’s frustrating because people text me and it says delivered but I don’t get the message. And one Apple person treated me like I was a criminal. I never send spam.
  • You don't get the Delivered message for texts sent to you.
  • Not sure what you are referring to by not getting the message.

I would look into your Apple Account being compromised and review if your account is signed in on another device that is capable of sending messages.

  • Change you Password and review the information here:

If you think your Apple Account has been compromised - Apple Support

  • Go to Settings > [name on top] and scroll to the bottom to review the devices signed into your account.
  • Make sure you have Two Factor Authentication turned on. That will require anyone else that signs into your account for sending iMessages to enter the verification code sent to your device or a Trusted Phone Number added to your account. Spoofing is only for outgoing messages, you cannot spoof a number to receive those messages.
